Each model is made to order in natural Talalay or certified organic latex, in the firmness you choose, and each is on display in both of our showrooms.

Every model, four ways
The 7, 10 and 12 inch models each come in your choice of four firmnesses. Queen and king sizes can be split, so each side of the bed gets its own feel.

Beyond Ultra Firm there's OrthopedicFirm, a separate model built from 110-density certified organic Dunlop latex for people who need genuine back support. It keeps the spine level, resists sagging, and still has the natural resilience that makes latex so comfortable.
The most important consideration when you buy a new mattress is back support. If a doctor or chiropractor has told you to sleep firm, come lie on it on Camelback Road.

The 8-step Talalay process of molding, freezing, gelling and vulcanizing produces a light, airy and remarkably consistent latex with the industry's highest ratings for breathability, pressure relief and durability.
Its open-cell structure breathes all night, which matters in the Valley of the Sun. Many customers, especially as they get older, fall in love with Talalay's softer, pressure-relieving feel.

Our organic mattresses use certified organic Dunlop latex grown with no pesticides and no fertilizers. To earn GOLS certification, a product must contain more than 95% certified organic raw material. The quilting is GOTS certified organic cotton and wool.
No polyurethane foam, no chemical fire retardants, no fillers. Naturally resistant to dust mites, mold and mildew, organic latex is a clear choice for allergy sufferers.
Our sister brand shows the full range of certified organic builds, all hand-made in our own factory in every size and firmness.
It starts as a seed that grows into the Hevea brasiliensis tree, originally native to the Amazon. Its milky sap, tapped by hand, becomes the resilient latex inside every Latexpedic mattress.

Our original specialty
Electropedic was founded in 1964 to build adjustable beds, and Latexpedic grew out of it. Latex is naturally flexible, so every Latexpedic mattress is made to bend with an adjustable base. These beds are on display to try with it.

Raises the whole bed, not just the head and foot
A true hi-lo bed has three motors: head, foot, and a third that raises and lowers the entire frame. Low for getting safely into a wheelchair, high so a caregiver can help without straining. Most of ours look like fine bedroom furniture, not a hospital bed.

1964
62 years, three generations, one family
Henry Kraus founded Electropedic in 1964 to build adjustable beds. In 1987 he slept on a latex mattress in a small Swiss hotel and woke without his usual back pain, then came home determined to build one better. His sons and grandsons still design and hand-make every Latexpedic mattress today.
Our 62 years of experience will mean the right natural organic latex mattress for you.
